Plenty of freedom.
From Palanquey, shape your stay around vineyards, heritage and coastal horizons. Choose one discovery at a time, with the pleasure of returning to the peace of the house each evening.

It all starts around the house
The village.
The vines.
And time to enjoy them.
The alleys of Saint-Émilion and the landscapes of its UNESCO-listed Jurisdiction set the tone for the first days. A winery visit by appointment, a walk or a bike ride: the discovery can be prepared according to your desires.

Bordeaux,
along the waterfront.

After the vines, change the pace. The districts of the old Bordeaux, the facades of the Place de la Bourse and the quays of the Garonne invite you to discover the city on foot.
Leave a day to explore the historic centre and its UNESCO-listed setting, stop at a café terrace and follow the river. In the evening, return to the open horizons of Palanquey.
A distance guide: around 55 km each way to Place de la Bourse, depending on your route. Plan your arrival and parking.

Head for the coast · Day 4
Arcachon Bay,
its villages
and oysters.
An excursion to change the landscape: discover Arcachon, then choose a neighboring oyster port, such as Larros in Gujan-Mestras. The cabins, the docks and the meeting with the producers give this day another flavor.
Before setting out for an oyster tasting, check opening hours and leave time for a walk. These are suggestions, not a package: visits and meals must be arranged separately.

Another shore, another day
Cap Ferret.
See further.
The Lège-Cap-Ferret peninsula offers another way to experience Arcachon Bay. Explore L’Herbe and Le Canon through their cabins, lanes and views over the water. The lighthouse is a landmark for planning your day; check opening arrangements for the places you would like to visit.
Choose this shore as an alternative to Arcachon and neighboring ports. You will enjoy the getaway more by avoiding trying to cram everything into one day.
Arcachon and Cap Ferret are reached by different routes. Traffic, especially in season, can significantly affect journey times.
