Is Le Palanquey at the center of Saint-Émilion?
Château du Palanquey is at 2 lieu-dit Palanquey in Sainte-Colombe, in the vineyard countryside near Saint-Émilion. You stay among the vines; exploring the village is an outing to plan from the house.
Can we combine accommodation and spa?
Yes. The official Palanquey website states that access to the spa is included with an overnight stay. Treatments and massages must be booked separately; consult the house for conditions and availability.

“Check availability” opens the official Château du Palanquey booking service. Choose your dates and accommodation and see the applicable rates and terms.
How much time should you allow to discover the region?
Allow two days for Saint-Émilion, the vineyards and spa; add a third for Bordeaux and a fourth for Arcachon Bay. Our journals offer itinerary ideas to adapt around appointments and visiting hours.
Can we enjoy well-being all year round?
Yes. The indoor swimming pool is heated to 30°C all year round, summer and winter. The outdoor swimming pool is open in season. Massages and facial and body treatments Institut Esthederm are offered all year round, by reservation and subject to availability; they are not included in the overnight stay.
Are there many activities to do in and around Palanquey?
The days are composed according to your wishes. On site, enjoy the spa and wellness. In the surrounding area, discover the cellars, tastings and bike rides in the vineyards, neighboring villages and heritage of Saint-Émilion, including the monolithic church. For a wider view, explore Bordeaux, Arcachon Bay or the oyster villages of Cap Ferret. Is Le Palanquey a good starting point to discover Bordeaux and the Arcachon basin?
Yes, for a day of exploring before returning to the peace of the vineyards. From Palanquey, allow around 55 km by road to Place de la Bourse in central Bordeaux, or 115 km to Arcachon station in the town centre, each way. Distances vary with the route; plan your return and check traffic, particularly in season. Cap Ferret is reached by a different route.
